MT&A proudly serves Human Resources Departments, in large and small companies, throughout the Greater St. Louis Metro area. We do not operate as the traditional interpreter referral service but from our mission where we believe everyone has an equal right to quality communication. In partnership with the your HR department, Deaf, and Hearing communities we promote respect and independence to enhance relationships. We do this through dependable and reliable interpreting services, education and training, and advocacy customized with a personal touch. We not only meet ADA requirements for equal access to communication, but our unique approach is aligned to fully integrate Deaf into their communities.
How? Sign language interpreting is what we are known for but it is only roughly 15-20% of what we actually do.
- Our team invests 80+% of their time in ensuring sign language interpreting services are delivered accurately and appropriately.
- We show up and get it right the first time! We only attract, recruit, and hire the highest qualified sign language interpreters.
- Office staff and sign language interpreters provide cultural mediation, insight into the interpreting process, and genuinely care for clients.
- We invest in expert staff: Deaf Community Liaison, expert interpreters, subject matter experts (SMEs), trained and experienced leadership.
